Cembra Cantina di Montagna's Schiava Trentino DOC is a light red wine crafted from indigenous Schiava grape varieties, including Schiava Grigia, Schiava Grossa, Schiava Gentile, and Schiava Meranese. Cultivated on the traditional terraced vineyards of the Cembra Valley in Trentino, Italy, at elevations between 500 and 700 meters above sea level, these vines thrive in silty-sandy soils of volcanic origin.

The wine presents a light red color and an elegant aroma reminiscent of fresh red forest fruits. On the palate, it is soft and well-balanced, with a slightly acidic note that pairs well with traditional local dishes.

Cembra Cantina di Montagna, established in 1952, is the highest winery in Trentino, situated at 700 meters above sea level. The cooperative comprises approximately 300 passionate winegrowers dedicated to heroic viticulture on the steep terraces of the Cembra Valley.

This Schiava Trentino DOC is an excellent accompaniment to local Trentino cuisine, complementing dishes such as speck, polenta, and mushroom-based recipes. Its light body and fresh acidity also make it a versatile pairing for a variety of appetizers and light meats.
