Tenuta di Fessina, Erse Etna Rosso

Sicily’s volcanic terroir shines in this Etna DOC Rosso made from 90% Nerello Mascalese, 8% Nerello Cappuccio, and 2% white varieties. Grown in ancient bush vines at 700 m on the east-facing Rovittello slopes, it offers bright aromas of wild blackberry, coriander, clove, pink pepper, and graphite. The palate is elegant and fresh—soft, austere tannins, spicy grip, mineral red fruits, and a saline finish. “Erse” is full-bodied yet refined, ideal slightly chilled with grilled meats or rustic Italian dishes.
