This certified organic IGT Rosso Toscana blend from is produced by Buccia Nera, a family-owned estate in the hills of Arezzo, Tuscany. The wine comprises 80% Sangiovese, 10% Syrah, and 10% Malvasia Bianca, sourced from vineyards situated at altitudes between 350 and 600 meters above sea level. The soil composition is predominantly clay with a significant presence of galestro, and the vineyards are oriented to the southwest. Harvesting occurs in August, followed by spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks with a brief maceration period of four days. The wine is unfiltered and aged for six months in concrete tanks, with an additional two months in the bottle.
The wine exhibits a light ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose reveals intense floral notes accompanied by fresh red fruit aromas. On the palate, it is agile and fresh, characterized by high acidity and low tannins, resulting in a smooth, juicy, and pleasant wine. This profile makes it particularly enjoyable when served chilled.
Rossorelativo pairs well with mild cheeses, vegetarian dishes, pizza, and cold cuts, and can also be enjoyed on its own.
Buccia Nera's commitment to organic and sustainable agriculture is evident in their practices, including the use of renewable energy and a focus on biodiversity, which contribute to the natural management of their vineyards and the production of authentic wines that reflect the terroir of Tuscany.
