Sustainable and Organic
Château du Parc's 2014 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is a distinguished Bordeaux blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, sourced from the estate's 5.5-hectare vineyard in the renowned Saint-Émilion appellation. The vineyard features two distinct terroirs: gravel and sand soils to the south, and clay and limestone soils to the north, contributing to the wine's complexity.
In the glass, this wine presents a rich red hue. The nose has very ripe red fruit aromas, such as raspberry and boysenberry, interwoven with spicy notes, offering beautiful complexity. On the palate, it delivers vibrant red fruits that linger, complemented by spicy and light oak nuances throughout. The medium-bodied profile is supported by supple tannins and balanced acidity, leading to a harmonious finish.
The 2014 vintage was matured in 50% new oak barrels enhancing its structure and depth. This wine pairs elegantly with sharp cheeses, red meats, or roast duck. It's best served after some breathing time or a decant.
Château du Parc's 2014 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru exemplifies the estate's commitment to producing wines that reflect the true essence of their terroir, offering a refined and memorable tasting experience.
