A gorgeous amber color, made from 100% Pinot Gris from the organically farmed Heringer Vineyard in Yolo County. It ferments on the skins in tank for 14 days, and is then matured for eight months in neutral French oak.
The wine starts fun and fresh with light berries and fresh acidity. Then deeper savory tones emerge like dried fruits and tea-like tannins.
