Fasoli Gino Delle Venezie Pinot Grigio Pigio

Fasoli Gino's Pigio Pinot Grigio delle Venezie DOC is a delicate white wine from Italy's picturesque Veneto region. In the glass, it has a bright golden-yellow hue. The bouquet is lively, featuring aromas of citrus fruits, white flowers, and grapefruit. On the palate, it is fresh and balanced, with a soft texture and a refreshing acidity. The finish is pleasantly aromatic and fruity. 

This wine is produced organically, reflecting the Fasoli family's commitment to sustainable viticulture. The grapes are hand-picked and fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, preserving the varietal's fresh and fruity character. The wine is then matured on fine lees for several months before bottling. 

This Pinot Grigio is both elegant and refreshing. It pairs wonderfully with grilled fish, pasta with light sauces, white meats, and soups. It also serves as an excellent aperitif or accompaniment to light appetizers and canapés. 

The Fasoli Gino estate, now in its fourth generation under Matteo Fasoli, is located in the Val d'Illasi valley east of Verona. Since 1925, the family has cultivated their vineyards with passion and a deep connection to nature. In 1979, they transitioned to organic farming, and by 1986, all vineyards were managed organically. Since 2006, the entire estate has adopted biodynamic practices, producing wines that tell the story of their terroir and family heritage.
