Gut Oggau Weinland Cecilia Rose

Sustainable, Organic, and Biodynamic

Gut Oggau's Cecilia Rosé is a distinctive minimal intervention wine from Austria's Burgenland region, crafted from a field blend of biodynamically farmed red and white grape varieties. The grapes are hand-harvested from a 1.4-hectare limestone vineyard, with two-thirds pressed directly and one-third crushed, followed by spontaneous fermentation in large wooden vats. The wine matures in 1,500-liter wooden barrels without fining, filtration, or added sulfur, resulting in a vibrant rosé that reflects its unique terroir.

In the glass, Cecilia Rosé displays a delicate pink hue. The nose offers aromas of red berries, including strawberry and raspberry, complemented by floral notes. On the palate, it is crisp and refreshing, with flavors of strawberry and watermelon, balanced by lively acidity and a mineral-driven finish.

This rosé pairs well with a variety of dishes, such as light salads, sushi, ceviche, grilled vegetables, and Mediterranean cuisine. Its versatility and vibrant profile make it suitable for both casual and formal dining experiences.

Cecilia Rosé exemplifies Gut Oggau's commitment to biodynamic practices and minimal intervention winemaking, offering a pure expression of the vineyard's character and the family's dedication to quality.
