The organic Les Vigneron du Castelas "Tranquille Pinard” is a lovely, light red from the Loire. A blend of mostly Grenache plus some Syrah, it's a low tannin, fruit-forward vin de soif perfect for summertime barbecues or as an aperitif. It takes a chill nicely as well. The french phrase on the label reads: "on n'est pas bien là?" which loosely equates in English to "Isn't this the life!"
