Sustainable and Organic
Podere Giardino's Suoli Cataldi Lambrusco Reggiano Rosso is a sparkling red wine from Emilia-Romagna, Italy, crafted from a blend of indigenous Lambrusco grape varieties, including Lambrusco Marani, Salamino, Oliva, and Maestri. The Crotti family, who own Podere Giardino, organically farm over 123 acres, with only 12 acres dedicated to vineyards. This wine is produced using the traditional metodo ancestrale, resulting in a naturally effervescent character.
In the glass, it presents a deep, dark color with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is expressive, offering aromas of sour red cherries, fresh cola nut, savory spices, and dried flowers. On the palate, it delivers a vibrant mix of sour plums and wildflowers, with a touch of hoisin sauce on the finish, balanced by refreshing acidity and gentle tannins.
Light-bodied and versatile, it pairs excellently with charcuterie, aged cheeses, and savory snacks, making it an ideal companion for antipasti and festive gatherings.
Experience the authentic expression of Emilia-Romagna's terroir with Suoli Cataldi, a testament to the region's rich winemaking heritage and the Crotti family's dedication to organic farming.
