Radikon Sivi Pinot Grigio 2021

Sustainable and Organic
Radikon's 2021 Sivi Pinot Grigio is a distinctive orange wine from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy, crafted from 100% Pinot Grigio grapes. The name "Sivi," meaning "gray" in Slovenian, refers to the grape's grayish-pink skins. This wine undergoes 10-14 days of skin maceration, imparting a unique amber hue and complex character.
On the nose, it reveals aromas of candied fruit, tangerine, and baking spices. The palate offers immense freshness, high acidity, and a savory, grippy texture with pithy undertones. The wine is fermented with natural yeasts in oak vats without temperature control or added sulfur, then aged on its lees for a year in large Slavonian oak barrels. Bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur addition, it embodies Radikon's commitment to minimal intervention winemaking.
This Sivi Pinot Grigio pairs well with a variety of dishes, including roasted poultry, and mature cheeses. Its vibrant acidity and complex profile make it a versatile choice for both casual and formal dining experiences.
