Scaia Torre Melotti Veneto IGT

Scaia Torre Mellotti is a Veneto IGT red wine crafted exclusively from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes by Tenuta Sant'Antonio's Scaia project. The wine is produced using a unique approach where 50% of the grapes undergo the traditional appassimento technique—drying for one month to concentrate flavors—while the remaining 50% are vinified fresh to retain vibrancy.

A brighter take on Cabernet Sauvignon from the cooler climate of the Veneto in Northern Italy. Ripe red and black fruits plus bright acidity and mild green herbs, balanced with oak-aged complexity and a smooth finish.

Aged in 500-liter French oak casks—comprising equal parts new, first, and second use—for 10 months, the wine gains additional complexity and depth.

Scaia Torre Mellotti pairs excellently with white and red meats, whether roasted, skewered, or grilled. It is also a suitable companion for mature, hard, or fresh cheeses, as well as vegetable soups and pasta dishes with sauces.
