Supergay Fire Island Dry Gin is a bold, unfiltered gin handcrafted in New York State by Supergay Spirits, featuring a smooth base crafted from 100% New York corn spirit distilled four times in a continuous column still. This small-batch spirit embraces a “farm to disco” ethos, infusing locally sourced and sustainably harvested ingredients with vibrant creativity.

The gin is enriched with wild sugar kelp foraged from Fire Island by Violet Cove Oysters—the first licensed kelp grower in the region—introducing a touch of marine salinity and umami. Alongside this distinctive coastal flourish are classic and aromatic botanicals such as juniper, wild-foraged elderflower, chamomile flower, finger limes, oranges, limes, orris root, coriander, pink peppercorn, and Tasmanian pepperberry.

Distillation balances technique and nuance: most botanicals are macerated before distillation, while more delicate floral and citrus elements—like chamomile, elderflower, and finger limes—are added later in the run. The gin is proofed with filtered water from the Catskill Mountains and bottled at 45% ABV without chill filtration, preserving its full texture and aromatic intensity.

The aromatic profile on the nose unfolds with floral notes of chamomile and elderflower merging into orange oil and juicy lime, accented by a whisper of cedar and an oceanic, saline funk that evokes the coast. On the palate, it reveals vibrant citrus highlights from finger limes and orange peel, layered with pink peppercorn spice and Tasmanian pepperberry’s warm lift. Mid-palate depth is anchored by herbal, kelp-driven salinity and vegetal nuance, while spice lends length and structure to the finish.
